This time its the imperial officers turn to show up.
As in my last post with the imperial probe droids I have been looking at Sorastro´s painting series on Youtube and I find it hard not to follow his great painting steps.
Here is the link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twWddr1YTsA
The hard part with painting the imperial officers I think is the face.
And I´m not totaly happy how the face turned out.... what do you think?

Great minis. Faces are very good:)You pulled maximum from figures
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal!
DeleteThey look superb to me! Finding it very hard to resist the tempation of Imperial Assault!
ReplyDeleteCome over to the dark side :p
DeleteAgain superb! I went and had a look at the you tube tutorials and they really are very good, but I now want to paint Star Wars!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see you paint some star wars minis!
DeleteLove the poses and, of course, the paint job!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThe figures in the base game box are great looking models.
Looking great! I had problems with these figures' faces too, not the best sculpts. You did good!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words Leif!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit hard to tell, but it looks as if the moulding on the faces of these figures is a bit soft. I think your versions are really good, though.
ReplyDeleteThanks c6!
ReplyDeleteExcellent job mate. As Colgar6 points out detail is a little bit soft on these so requires you to try and paint in the details that aren't actually there which is very tricky.
ReplyDeleteThe details on the faces are not that great but its ok.
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon.
These aee great minis and are very recognisable as to what they are meant to be, your painting having no small part in that btw.
